10. Green Tea

Ok, so green tea is my new obsession.

I am sat here now writing this blog post with a cup of green tea watching the X Factor, I'm actually quite scared that I'm going to spill my tea on my laptop - X Factor makes me too emotional!

But what I really love about green tea, apart from its urge to spill all over my laptop, is that it has done wonders for my skin. I mean seriously my skin is usually breaking out in loads of spots but since I have started drinking green tea my skin has really cleared up. I mean there is still that one spot that refuses to go anywhere, even with every spot cream ever applied to it, but in general my skin is a lot better and less prone to breakouts than it used to be.

I usually drink a cup of green tea a day, which tends to be when I am relaxing on the sofa watching Netflix. On a completely unrelated note, I have just gotten into Once upon a time on Netflix after my cousin recommended it to me. I really needed a series to fill the void in my life whilst I wait for PLL Series 6B to come out and Once upon a time has done just that job and I am completely obsessed! Also, I almost forgot his but I am really enjoying watching the Netflix series Scream, it is so good and I am obsessed trying to work out who the killer is!

Anyway, back to green tea! I have found that if I drink green tea in the morning it makes me so much more awake in school, which I really need on a Monday morning! My favourite green teas are flavored, the green tea I am loving at the moment is mango and passion-fruit flavor, however you can usually find me drinking green tea with a hint of lemon.

I love green tea and I think that a big part of that love comes from the fact that green tea was the main thing I drank when I was doing my Duke of Edinburgh expedition, I find that whenever I drink green tea I find myself thinking of all the great memories I made whilst on that expedition. Honestly, if anyone is thinking of doing their Duke of Edinburgh's award then I would definitely recommend that you do it. It is a lot of work but I had so much fun, made great memories and grew so much closer to the people who were in my group!

So in conclusion, I love green tea!

9 and a half. Thinking

So, I have been doing a lot of thinking recently and I have realised I have been making my blog too serious. I mean this is meant to be fun and exciting!

Anyway, so what I have decided is that I won't be posting every Thursday and trying to keep to a strict schedule but instead I will be posting whenever about whatever I feel like. I will try to post every week, but I'm not guaranteeing anything, or I could post loads of times a week.

It will probably end up that I post on a Thursday as that is when I have the most free time but other than that my blog posts may be a bit random!

Also, this isn't the blog post I had planned that will probably end up going up sometime later this week. But I thought I would just let you know what is going on!

I know my recent blog posts have been very word-y but I thought I would just like to keep you informed on what is going on in my mind! :)

9. Keep waiting

Ok, so my post for this week will be up very soon.
I am still trying to write it now but it is taking me a lot longer than I thought!

Also I am going on my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh practice expedition this weekend, so wish me luck, I will need it!

If you follow my instagram you will also know that I have been locked out of my phone for a long time (21 days), this is almost over, I think there are about 10 days left :( so my instagram account will become active once again and I will be posting daily. You will just have to keep waiting for that :)

So, this is all for this week but don't worry I will be posting again later this week!

8. A New Beginning.

Hi! My name’s Lara.

And I’m a bad blogger. I mean I can never think of anything to write about, so my blog is a jumbled up mess of rubbish. I mean have you seen my second blog post? What a load of absolute rubbish.
Anyway, the point of this blog post is that I want to start blogging about random things. I mean I have tried to base this blog on beauty and fashion etc but I find it really hard. I mean I started this blog as a bit of fun and I haven't been getting any enjoyment out of it! Which is a bit annoying considering the amount of time that I spend working on my blog.
So basically this blog will be a bit random but I will try and do some beauty posts, so I hope you have fun reading it. And keep your eyes peeled as I have some exciting things planned for the future! :)

Lara

P.S. My instagram account is a bit rubbish at the moment as I have been locked out of my phone for about 16 days and all of my photos for my instagram account are stored on my phone and the quality on my sister's tablet is rubbish and this is the only thing that I can upload on, so that's a bit rubbish. But hopefully I will be back to uploading regularly in just over 2 weeks, so keep waiting. :)

7. My collection

So, this week I thought I would tell you about my collection of bath things that I have at the moment!

1. Lush So White Bath Bomb
Ok, I know this is a Christmas bath bomb but I bought so many of these because I love them so much that I still have one bath bomb left. I can't wait to use it as it makes my bath look so cool. It looks very simple on the outside but explodes into colour when you drop it into the bath!

2. Lush Candy Mountain Bubble Bar
So, this is another one from Lush's Christmas collection. I only bought one of these but I haven't used it yet because it smells so sweet. Don't get me wrong it smells delicious but I am not sure whether using it will make it smell even stronger which could make it a bit sickly.

3. Lush Pop in the Bath
Another Lush product, so surprising! This smells very nice and quite spring-y. The flower on top is such a cute detail and I can't wait to use this!

4. Lush Creamy Candy Bar Bath Melt
This smells absolutely amazing. It feels very creamy and just lovely. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and gorgeous. It is such a great Bath Melt! It is meant to have a pretty little flower on the top but I think mine fell off :(

5. Lush Ickle Baby Bot
This is so cute and smells very soothing, as I think it is chamomile scented. I have been waiting to try this for ages and I finally picked it up last week. But it is meant to be really good.

6. Zoella Beauty Fizz Bar
This smells so good and is such a good price as you can use it up to 8 times! I would definitely recommend this as it is just great.

6. Holiday

Sorry that this post is so late (I will be posting again on Thursday as this was meant to be last week's blog post). But I am currently near wales on holiday and the WiFi here is a bit unreliable :(

Anyway the reason my post is so late is because I have been trying to think of a new post as the blog post I had planned needs some of my things which are at home :(

So I'm sorry that this is so short but I hope you have had a great half term holiday (UK) :)

4. Snacks

Ok, I love snacks they may be my favourite things ever!

Recently I have been trying to be healthier so I have been constantly looking for new snacks to try that are healthy. And then I found 'Graze'!

Graze is amazing, they send you a box each week which contains a collection of different snacks and they are delicious! I absolutely love their snacks. I usually order the chocolate box which is a bit cheeky but it is so delicious. They have loads of different boxes, including the variety box, the light box (which only contains snacks under 150 calories), the chocolate box (my fave) and the kids box!

I would definitely recommend looking at their website, they aren't too expensive at £3.99 a box but are definitely worth it! They usually have a half price offer for new customers which means that you can get your first graze box half price!

This is what I got in my graze box this week:
1. Caramel & Peanut Track & Field
This is one of my favourites but it is still really nice. In a pack you get salted peanuts, redskin peanuts, vanilla fudge and mini chocolate cookies. The cookies and vanilla fudge in this are amazing - they taste so good!
2. Salted Fudge and Peanut Cookie
This is amazing! There are slated caramel milk chocolate buttons. Ok, take a minute to appreciate that, milk chocolate buttons filled with salted caramel. This is literally a dream come true! In this box there are also peanuts, fudge and raisins. Amazing! I love this pack I am eating it now whilst I type this :)
3. Honeycomb Flapjack
Ok, I don't usually like flapjacks but these are amazing. They are oat flapjacks with a chocolate and honeycomb drizzle on top. Genius!
4. Jaffa Cake
This is one of my all time favourites! you get Belgian dark chocolate, orange raisins and roasted hazelnuts. I got just keep on eating this forever!
5. Almonds
Ok, this isn't from graze but I have been really enjoying eating almonds as a quick snack recently. They are pretty healthy and they taste so good!

If you want to buy a box from graze just click here!
I hope you enjoyed this blog post!
Remember to check back every Thursday to see my new blog posts :)

3. Everyday makeup essentials

So, today I thought it would be fun to just talk through some of my everyday beauty essentials!
1. Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer
Whenever I do my make-up I always start with concealer, it just helps to cover all the blemishes and spots I have and makes the dark circles under my eyes disappear! I love this concealer it makes my eyes a lot brighter and it has good coverage. I have it in the shade 'True Ivory' and I find that it is a great match for my skin tone.
2. Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder
When I do everyday make-up I don't really use use foundation as I find it is a bit time consuming and is a bit heavy, so I usually end up just using powder. I find this makes my face look less shiny and it helps to blend in my concealer. I use powder as it gives a very natural look and it only takes me about 10 seconds to apply! And in the morning I never have enough time, so being able to apply this so quickly is a godsend!
3. Bourjois Blusher
I love this blusher it just looks really nice with my skin tone, I have it in the shade 74 rose ambre, which I love! I use it to contour on my cheeks and it gives a really subtle rosy colour, which just looks so nice!
4. Bourjois Eye Pearls
In my everyday make-up I would use the bourjois eye pearls eye shadow. I'm not really sure what colour this is but it is a range of different purples and pinks. I think that the selection of colours you get is great as there is one for every occasion, a shimmer, a bold shade, a base colour. I absolutely love these eye shadows!
5.Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner
I love this eyeliner, it is super easy to apply and it lasts for ages, which I love! Unfortunately, it isn't waterproof which is a shame because I love this eyeliner and I would wear it every day if it was waterproof.
6. Rimmel London Scandal eyes mascara
I love this mascara, it isn't too pricey which is great and it makes my eyelashes look really full and long which only one flick of the wand! I would recommend this mascara the Rimmel London wonderful (or something like that, it contains argon oil) and the Chanel waterproof mascara. These are all really nice and worth buying!

7. Nivea Milk and Honey Lip balm / Maybelline Baby Lips
I love my Nivea lip balm, I have it in milk and honey and it makes my lips feel so soft and moisturised and it smells amazing too! I could eat it! If I want more of a colour on my lips I would use my Baby Lips, I have this in the shade 'Pink Punch' and it looks really good (as long as you don't apply too much)!

So, these are my makeup essentials! This is what I would usually wear to school (minus the eyeliner)!
I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know what else you would include in your makeup essentials in the comments below :)

2. Health and Fitness!

Well, my blog post today is slightly rushed. I have another blog post that I was going to upload today but then my camera died, so I can't take the pictures for it :( it will probably go up next week, so keep waiting for that one!

Today, I thought I would talk about fitness and health.
I have quite a small figure naturally but I still like to feel like I am healthy and fit, and to do this I recommend drinking water! I know this may sound a bit stupid but I promise you if you start drinking more water you will look and feel a lot healthier almost instantly.
My next tip is to stop going on your phone at night, I know this might seem like a big ask but if you look at your phone in the dark it causes you to squint which leads to dark circles under your eyes, which is never a good look!

Ok, tip number 3, is to try and do more exercise. Now, this may seem really obvious, but you really should do it. I have recently started going jogging every Thursday and I have felt so much better than I did before.

Eat more fish. Ok, this may seem a bit odd but fish is rich in vitamins and minerals, so is really good for a healthy lifestyle. I have fish at least twice a week.  Just trust me on this one, it is good for you :)

Drink a small glass of fruit juice in the morning, this can help to reduce tiredness and I always feel more awake after I have had my glass of fruit juice!

Ok, I think that is all, if you have any more tips please leave them in the comments section below and I will be sure to see them and respond :)
